It would be awesome to have my own place to do glass, where I can zone out as I solder and foil.

I'd love to use the garage, but my mom wouldn't let me. And we don't have anywhere else. It bums me out, but there's nothing to do about it other than hope that I move out someday into a place that has room for a grinder and glass. One can dream, right?

You might be able to find a local glass studio that lets you use their space/equip for about $5/hour.
You can even store your work in progress there.

Money for tools can also buy you alotta hours in a studio.
